Are you one of the 18% who struggle with an Anxiety Disorder?

Anxiety disorders are a serious mental illness effecting more than 40 million Americans (18% of the adult population). [1] Everyone has anxiety. Anxiety helps us to work hard on a deadline to do our best. If we see a bear near us in the woods, anxiety increases to help alert us of danger as a form of protection.

When does anxiety become a problem?

When it gets’s in the way when excessive anxiety interferes with everyday activities such as going to work or school or spending time with friends or family. When you no longer feel like you are living, but merely surviving and most of your efforts are going towards trying to manage your anxiety, it’s time to seek help. Help is exaction what Mandy did by coming to The Anxiety Center at Renew’s Intensive Outpatient Program. Covered by most insurance companies, in just six weeks, Mandy is living an entirely different life than she has lived for years. Some people seek alternative treatments such as the medicinal use of marijuana. If this would benefit you then you might want to visit a marijuana dispensary Michigan. Many people have spoken of how helpful this has been to them. It is a common misconception that you have to use marijuana in the “traditional” manner. In fact, a wide range of dispensary supplies now caters to the evolving needs of cannabis users, with vapes now being widespread. You can find various reviews of a wide selection of marijuana strains online. Click here to see one such review of the Black Diamond strain available to purchase over the internet.

At the Anxiety Center, we offer a six-week program allowing participants to both learn and apply tools to deal with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, or PTSD allowing one to stop striving, and start living their life towards the values they want to live by.

  1. That’s pretty crazy that forty million Americans will have some level of anxiety. That sounds like it would be a major issue that would affect a lot of people and their loved ones. I’m glad that the are some ways of helping people that struggle with that, like counseling and medication, since there is a pretty good chance that I might have to deal with that at some point.
