Michael graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BA in Psychology, minoring in Human Development and Family Science. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Counseling at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with an emphasis in Couples and Family. Michael works to provide a supportive and accepting therapeutic environment that is sensitive to the needs of each individual. He strives to acknowledge and understand each client’s perception of the world through their personal cultural and developmental lenses. Michael has developed a passion for helping young adults and adolescents work through their anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, stress, and relational issues. Outside of the counseling world, Michael enjoys hiking, camping, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family."
