Joe worked as a high school social studies teacher for 2 years. During this time, he started to realize that his true passion involved interacting with students about their life and future. After his two years of teaching, Joe entered the Avila Master’s program for Counseling Psychology. While attending Avila University, he has worked as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technician to help patients who struggle with severe depression. During this time, Joe’s passion for helping people tackle their depression has motivated him to help people who struggle from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, and relational issues. Outside of counseling, Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, sports, and reading.
